Netgear Data Recovery

I purchased a Netgear Readynas Duo diskless hard drive for my home computer. I have not had much experience with computing, and have managed to set it up and operate it without too much hassle. There were occasional stumbles, and I got very frustrated with it, to the point where I decided to remove all of my files from the hard drive, and get a new external drive. However, as I was transferring my folders out of the Readynas, it crashed. Both of the drives stopped at the same time, and I got error reports. I cannot operate the drives since that crash, with the computer refusing to recognise or read the drives (despite it having RAID). This means that all the data left on the Netgear external drive is sitting in limbo, or is even lost forever. I don’t know how to get the Readynas box going again, because it won’t respond to instructions from the Control Panel. I also don’t know how to make the computer respond to my problem again, or what software to use to recover the data.

I have a large amount of data located in files in a Netgear Readynas Duo storage centre, and cannot get it to respond to me in any way. I have had no problems up until recently, when I discovered that it would not let me delete files which had been saved on there. I wanted to get rid of a few files which had been endlessly copied, and which were taking up memory on the Netgear hard drive. The computer just made a ‘bing’ noise each time. I asked Netgear tech support for some help, and they gave me some assistance, so that I could delete the files. However, I am now missing some folders which I wanted to keep on the Netgear drive. These files were not deleted by me in mistake for the others, they seem to have disappeared overnight. There is also a large chunk of memory which was taken up by those files, and a look on Properties shows me that this is now available. I am worried that I have lost the folders, so can you recover the data that I need.
